​Welcome! My name is Donna McMillan, I am a Relationship Counsellor and have been practising since 2016. I have broad experience locally and internationally, having lived overseas as an expatriate. I have a passion for helping people navigate the relationship they have with themselves and the people around them. I am also culturally sensitive and have a deep understanding on the role of culture for both individuals and couples.

 

  MY QUALIFICATIONS

I hold a Bachelor's Degree of Science (Psychology) and Masters of Counselling from the University of Canberra. I am also a registered with PACFA (Psychotherapists and Counsellors Federation Australia) as a Clinical Registrant (25183).

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

​

I am a mother of 3 and a stepmother of 4. I understand what it's like to navigate the challenges of family life, and the different dynamics each relationship can bring. It is through my own life experiences, my love of learning about relationships, and how the brain works, that allows me to have deep empathy and understanding of my clients. My participation in ongoing professional development and my own therapy, means I can show up for my clients in the best way possible. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients on a part of their journey, and to witness the growth that can happen in therapy.
